John Partilla | Screenvision CEO
John Partilla, a seasoned professional with nearly three decades of experience in the marketing and media industries, serves as the CEO of Screenvision. Prior to this role, he was the Executive Vice President of the ICF Digital Services Group– the digital transformation agency that boasts more than 1000 employees across nine offices across North America.
Prior to his current ICF leadership role, John Partilla served as the CEO of Olson Group from January, 2013 onward. Olson Group was the third largest U.S. independent digital agency at the time of being acquired by ICF International in November, 2014. Partilla was integral in helping to transform Olson Group as a true leader in the digital services industry, and into one of the largest independent digital agencies in the nation. Partilla continues to helm Olson Group as CEO, in addition to heading the ICF Digital Services Group.
John Partilla first began his career on the agency side of the business at Young & Rubicam in 1986. Working there for nearly two decades, he eventually rose to the position of Managing Partner. In 2000, he founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Brand Buzz, a division of Young & Rubicam specializing in digital services.
In 2004, Partilla transitioned to the media sector, serving as the President of Global Media Group at Time Warner for five years. During his tenure at Time Warner, he worked to grow the marketing and advertising revenues across the company’s properties through a focus on audience selling, driven by customized creativity, and bespoke digital experiences for client partners.
In 2009, John Partilla joined Clear Channel Communications as the President of Global Media Sales and a member of the Company’s Operating Board. While at Clear Channel Communications, John was selected as the ninth Leading Media Player of 2010 by the industry trade publication Mediaweek , for helping lead Clear Channel into a piloted upfront selling process for its largest advertisers, and for helping to further leverage the i-Heart Clear Channel application into more of a robust advertising and marketing digital platform.
Other 2010 Leading Media Player notables included Arianna Huffington, and Sheryl Sandberg.
In 2011, John Partilla transitioned to the role of Chief Operating Officer of Dentsu Network West, the Americas division of Dentsu Inc. In this capacity, John helped lead and drive performance across the recently formed network that included more than thirteen offices and 1400 employees across Europe, and the Americas. Dentsu Network West was selected by Fast Company in 2012, as the sixth most innovative advertising company in the world for its successful initiative of conquering the American advertising market from Japan.
Educationally, Partilla holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing & Economics from the University of Delaware and a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia Business School. Additionally, he serves on several non profit, and for profit boards.
